Walking Robot Demo on an Atari 800XL
Now this looked pretty awesome in the 80s! Here we have a demonstration of the power of the GTIA chip, which featured in later versions of the Atari 400 and 800 models (earlier models used the CTIA chip) and all other members of the Atari 8-bit family. For the techies among you, the Atari computers consisted of a 6502 for the main processor, a combination of ANTIC and GTIA chips to provide graphics, and the POKEY chip to handle sound.
